We can all be a little...

So I think I came up with a pretty good name and logo for the "5 senses" project.
I've kind of fallen in love with the name, whom happen to be characters from the story as well. The logo came out pretty good too. I may mess around a little with it, but all and all I'm pretty happy.

Here's some creepies.

So, here I am a few hours later with some designs/redesigns of a few of the creatures from Cryptic Happenings. Here we have Flatwoods Monster, Hopkins Goblin, and The Ohio Grassman. A few things of note here:
Flatwoods: I've had a couple designs for this one now, I really tried to accent the alien origins behind the Flatwoods. I like this one. It keeps getting thinner and creepier.
Hopkins: This is actually one of three brothers. The Hopkins Goblin is a cool cryptid it's inspired a lot of things. from Disney characters, Pokémon, and even the Gremlins movies.
Grassman: Just a bust of a character. I'm really looking forward to working more with this guy's story.

Mothman redesign

Working on giving a new look to one of the main characters of "Cryptic Happenings". This is, of course, Harvey the Mothman. (his original design here). I decided to make his legs a little shorter and stubbier, seeing as he doesn't really run often.
Going to try to maybe design/redesign a few of the other characters that go along with this story as well. Heck, maybe I'll even write a little more of it.

Getting that old brain stew stiring again

For the first post on this blog, I thought I'd do a little revisiting to a story/comic/designs from a little while ago.
Bill and I did some drawing exercises and the assignment for one was to do character concepts based off the 5 senses.
I liked my concepts enough that I started basing a sci-fi kind of world around them, along with a hero's journey story concept.
For the original concept art I did for them, lookie here: "Us 5 Senses"

I really like these guys and plan on doing a bit more with them.
